Dinerama Case Study

THE BRIEF

This event is an annual client reception, and is a very important event for our client to host. Each year they enjoy canapés and champagne in glamorous venues, but this time round, they wanted to do something really different. The space had to be able to host 650 guest for a standing reception, with enough room to move around and network. The location had to be central with easy access to train links, and the food had to be amazing. We knew just the place.

Dinerama is a fantastic venue in that it offers an enviable location in the heart of Shoreditch, it is an uber cool space boasting a large reception space, with lots of seating, a fabulous wine bar, gin bar, and of course, the delicious array of street food traders, who prepare sumptuous dishes every night for guests to enjoy. This venue is really different and provides the perfect backdrop for more casual style corporate events.

Execution

We had exclusive hire of the venue for the night. We held a tasting at the venue to try all of the delights the food traders had to offer, and then the client selected 5 traders to be open for their event. We pre-ordered the entire menu before the event.

Guests arrived and went through a very slick and swift registration process before entering the main space, where they were greeted by trays of sparkling wine and cocktails. Each guest was given a ‘food passport’ on arrival, which was stamped by the food traders each time they ordered food, this allowed for an even allocation of food portions which was important to the client.

We had a DJ playing soulful tunes and guests really enjoyed the experience of ordering food, the way they like it. Fresh, hot, delicious dishes were served from some of the best street food traders in London. Food is always a great talking point, so for a networking event like this, it worked really well.
